Haleakala Walnut Shelling, Inc. is a three generation family owned walnut grower and processor specializing in high quality shelled walnut products. We began processing in our new facility in September of 2006. Our founders Rose Crain and Dan Davidson were joined by Amanda Davidson and our General Manager, Tim Merrill in September 2008. We have over 60 years combined experience in walnut shelling. Our goal is very simple: To establish long term relationships with our buyers based on providing a quality product at a reasonable cost, with our growers by looking to maximize their returns for their products, and with our employees to help us grow as a community.
We provide high-end products of impressive quality to our buyers. We do this by having growers who share our dedication to quality farming, by having state of the art facilities, and by having a hands-on attitude toward management as well as employees who truly care about the products we put out. Because of the combination of these practices we consistently produce quality products which far exceed D.F.A. standards.
